Cecilia E. Locati, CFE, ACMA, CGMA
Cecilia Locati is the Leading Consultant and Founder of Fraud Fence Ltd.
She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) member of the ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) which is the world’s largest and most prestigious anti-fraud organization. She is also a Certified Management Accountant (ACMA and CGMA) member of the CIMA and has a university degree in Business Administration.
Before founding Fraud fence in 2015 she previously held a number of senior positions within different internal fraud prevention areas.
She started her career in 2007 as senior auditor at PwC, the largest professional services firm in the world, working with several SMEs operating in the manufacturing and retail sectors.
After three years, she took over the position of Senior Compliance Officer at Hasbro, one of the world’s biggest toy manufacturing companies. During the years working for Hasbro she travelled extensively across Central and Eastern Europe to implement and to strengthen internal controls as well as to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Legislation.
From 2014 to 2015 she was Head of SOX, Internal Controls and Compliance at Shine Group, one of the UK’s leading TV production groups. In this position she worked with all the Shine Group’s companies to implement effective anti-fraud controls, to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Legislation and with the Anti-Bribery Act.
She combines an extensive technical knowledge with over a decade of business experience mainly working with start-ups, fast growing companies and SMEs in the Media, TV production, Retail and Manufacturing sectors.
